The purpose of this activity is to get familiar with Content Management Systems or CMS; what it is, how it works, what other types of CMS platforms are out there. Content Management System supports the creation and modification of digital content using a simple interface to abstract away low-level details unless required, usually supporting multiple users working in a collaborative environment.

I have messed around building and deleting a couple of my own websites with WIX in the past. I find that WIX has worked for me through all my past projects. Thus why WIX is the CMS platform I have chosen to build my version of the Reel Deal Fish Tacos website.
Having used WIX before, I have found it to be the easiest in creating content work. The templates they have are great, the only difficult thing I find using this platform is choosing which template to use because they all do look really good and I can picture how my work will look in each of them; which makes it a hard decision to choose. Otherwise, I feel this platforms has many other options to choose from and incorporate it into the design you are going for.
I have chosen the particular template/theme of a restaurant layout that resonates a bit more with the wireframe layout I have created for the third assignment in week 2. I have already started to rearrange a few bits here and there to begin seeing my design idea take shape in making sure this is the look and feel I want to represent Reel Deal Fish Tacos to the audience. Looking forward to continue working on this throughout the rest of the week.
The features I will leverage to meet the business needs of my fictitious client is simply going over and making sure I am hitting those points in the client brief along with my wireframe layout and the story, menu, laying out an awesome gallery, setting up a visual map of each locations, social media, as well as fan testimonials to create a pretty awesome website for all to visit.
Other than trying out Weebly, I haven't really tried any other CMS platforms out there. I felt like I wanted a more website feel not blog-y type at the time that I had attempted to create two sites one for a fitness name I had thought up of and the other to show off some of my photography works. Weebly just felt too blog-like and I just knew that it wasn't for me if I wasn't going to be consistent with it.
